Front Cover Layout Design

This is what I am intending for my front cover to look like, it may be changed a little but for now this is what the layout of it will be, what do you think? (comment)

Ideas for Front Cover Photo

• One person in frame (Female or Male)
• Listening to music
• Medium Close Up
• Maybe looking at Camera
• Be Smiling
• Take around 10 different shots to have a large selection to choose from.
• Edit in Coral Paint Shop Pro X

I will be completing the Photo Shoot over the week between Week 2 - 3.

Winner: Layout 1

Layout 1 won the poll so now I need to start designing it more in detail (add the text, add images later on after completing photo shoot). The amount of images I need for the contents page will be around 6 - 8 but I need to take around 20 just to make sure I have a good selection to choose from. Below is the winning contents layout.

(EDITED: I am thinking of changing the design just a little, maybe having two columns instead of three, not sure yet, I will have to come back on this)



Planning for Photo Shoot

After rethinking the contents of my magazine I have scrapped the cooking idea, it is too complicated for me to produce in the time I have so I am sticking with the Student Magazine with aspects of a girl magazine (clothes, make up). Below is a few ideas I have come up with for the images:-

Student Magazine section

• Reviews. Need to take pictures of one book and one DVD (which has just been released)
• Pictures of the College
• Feature some student’s work (Graphics and Art)

Girl’s Magazine section

• Make up photos
• Review on a certain product

 Not a lot I know, finding it hard to think of photo ideas, if you have any ideas which can help me, Comment below, thanks

Need help on choosing Contents Layout: Vote in Side bar

I need help in choosing which Layout I use for my Contents page, I have created three really amazing layouts but I can't decide which one to have, So I need a little help. There are only three to choose from so make sure to take a look at the Sidebar and pick one, the closing date will be next Wednesday 24th (So Get VOTING!)

Update: Theme

Because I have to do a Student Magazine this time I have decided to bring all the themes together and include them within the magazine content's page. With my magazine it features a wide range of things which teenagers might find interesting.
